We are always in the process of cleaning something in our house, we have the wipes for this, the cleaner for that. But what about those other products? The big ticket purchases we buy for the house? What do we use to clean them?
It wasn’t until recently that I started to think about cleaning the inside of the of wash machine – they have an oven cleaner, why not a washing machine cleaner? Well they do make them! Why are you washing your clothes in a machine that’s dirty? Did you ever think about the amount of dirt and grime that gets left in the washer?

The people at Affresh did! They make cleaners for your washing machine, dish washer, your stove top and your appliances. They even have a product to keep your veggies longer in the crisper.

I was sent the line of Affresh cleaners to test and try. Now, if you’ve been with my blog for a while you’ll know that the new year started with a new stove. After months of being without a working stove, I’ve babied the new one. So to properly test the oven cleaner I had to let it get a little messy. It was a little painful for me, but I did it.

The stove top cleaner comes with two small cleaning pads. You squeeze on some cleaner and use the scrubbing pad on the surface. It’s not too abrasive to hurt the finish on the stove, and quickly cleaned up the stove top.

In under 5 minutes, my stove top went from messy to this:

That’s quite the improvement! Not that I plan on letting the stove top get super messy, but it’s nice to know I have a cleaner I can trust on my new stove. And it’s safe to use on glass, ceramic and porcelain cooktops.

Now I want to show you my favorite cleaner. It’s the appliance cleaner – and if you use your appliances, you need it!

I’m always in the kitchen, and always cooking. I’m a good cook, but I’m a messy cook (just ask my mom). My appliances like my mixer are always getting messy. Now in the past I was using standard kitchen cleaners or bleach to clean my appliances. After several cleanings they look like the picture below on the left. They’re clean, but streaky and dulled out.

But now look at the picture on the right – no more streaks, no more smudges and shining like she was right out of the box. And all it took was a couple sprays and wiping it off with a clean cloth. I was amazed at the difference it made.

So now my question is – why didn’t I know about these products before? Why are we using just anything to clean the products we spend so much money on? I’m very happy with the new cleaners I’ve added to the collection and plan to use them to keep our appliances clean and running in good condition!

  8. I would love to try the stove cleaning pads and the bottle you used to clean your KitchenAid mixer. Mine is white and could use alot of help.

  16. The stove cleaner! + would Love them all I have a house full of kids and animals but I think the wipes would be great.

  18. I would definitely be interested in the stove cleaner! We have an older stove and it has become so hard to get clean anymore, a product that works and is easy to use would be a godsend! I also like the appliance cleaner. I hate the dullness on my mixer from washing it. We have the same one! 🙂

  19. I would like to try the dishwasher cleaner, actually I need to try the dishwasher cleaner! The water here is very hard and builds up in the dishwasher and is very hard to scrub it down.

  22. Ok, so I am WOMAN….we change our minds like we change outfits!!! So I wanna change mine to the washing machine cleaner becuase I just threw a load in the dryer and your right…..the dirt & grime I’m gonna have to clean if I don’t win this is gonna drive me crazing until I do it!!
