Great present for any woman in your life, the avid baker or someone who loves to cook!
That is not to say - I don't own aprons, or like them. I actually love aprons, they're fun cute and a bit of a past generation. Recently I found a great website that has adorable aprons - House of Minerva, and they offered to send me one to review.
I selected the Lucy Apron - the fabric consists of retro kitchenware. Since I fancy myself somewhat of a modern 1950's housewife, I found it not only adorable but fitting. Not only does the apron have the cute fabric on one side, it is completely reversible to a yellow inside and machine washable.
My new apron made its first trip to this week while I was baking cookies. The first thing I noticed was the size of the straps, they could almost wrap around me twice. They were easy to tie and stayed secured through the whole process. I love that the apron has two large pockets on the front for recipes or utensils. And most of all, I loved that after I was done - my clothes weren't a floury mess!
House of Minerva has sponsored today's Countdown and is giving one apron away to a lucky reader! Make sure you tell her thank you on Facebook!
