I've always had a problem with my hair, I often joke that it took me until my late 20's to figure out how to style it. It's thin, but full and naturally curly/wavy. So it's always been a goal of mine to find products that work well with my hair. Despite my hair dresser telling me I should damage my hair so it will hold styles better, I like to keep my hair healthy and use quality products.
I've often heard about the benefits of using different oil treatment in your hair but had never done it. So when Flat Iron Experts sent me some of the Macadamia hair care products to review, I was excited to give it a try. Maybe it could be the answer to the issues I was having!
I've often heard about the benefits of using different oil treatment in your hair but had never done it. So when Flat Iron Experts sent me some of the Macadamia hair care products to review, I was excited to give it a try. Maybe it could be the answer to the issues I was having!
They sent me three different Macadamia products to test, the Macadamia Natural Oil Deep Repair Masque, Natural Oil Healing Oil Treatment and Natural Oil Rejuvenating Shampoo. Each product is infused with both Macadamia and Argan oil to keep your hair healthy and hydrated.
The Macadamia Natural Oil Deep Repair Masque is a essentially a leave in conditioner. Along with the Argan and Macadamia oil it also has tea tree oil, chamomile oil, and aloe. Applying it was quick and easy, I put a small (dime sized) amount in my hand and ran it through my damp hair. My hair is currently growing out and only a short bob, so only a small amount of product is every needed. After about 5 minutes I rinsed it out and towel dried my hair.
Macadamia's Natural Oil Healing Oil Treatment was also easy to use, I only used it when I was styling my hair with my blow dryer or flat iron. A couple drops ran through my damp hair before using my appliances made sure that may hair stayed hydrated and shiny through all of heat and intense abuse we can put our hair through.
My favorite of the three products is Macadamia Natural Oil Rejuvenating Shampoo. While I can see the results of all of the products after using them, the shampoo I can tell is working in the shower. I used it as I would any standard shampoo product, but unlike other products my hair didn't feel stripped and dry after use. You could immediately feel the oils working and my hair felt hydrated even before conditioning.
Since using the Macadamia products I can feel and see the difference in my hair. While other products use fake additives to strip away what your hair naturally needs the Macadamia products add to your hair. They increase the health and shine of your hair so you look your best.
