99 Days of Christmas Countdown

Great for those holiday trips to and from holiday parties. Great gift ideas for business people who travel a lot!

With the holidays right around the corner, we all will be hitting the road to visit friends and family soon enough. I'm lucky that most of my family will within a couple hours driving time, but that doesn't mean we wont be flying for business or vacations soon as well.

Whenever we do have to fly for a trip I'm always concerned with the charges for my bags. Each airline has different rules when it comes to the allowed weight of a checked bag and I don't like extra fees. Wouldn't it be great to have something you could toss into your bag and weigh your luggage before hand so you weren't hit with a huge charge? Eat Smart has come up with a very handy and light weight product called the Precision Voyager Digital Luggage Scale that can help you pack appropriately before you next big trip.

When Eat Smart sent me their Precision Voyager the first thing I noticed was how small the item is. It is large enough to hold with two hands, but very light overall. The top has a simple on and off button and one to change the weight measurement from pounds to kilograms. Overall the whole scale is simple and compact.

Like other technology reviews I like to test the item without reading the instructions. I'm very happy to say that this was extremely easy to do. You simply secure the strap around the handle of the bag you want to weigh, turn it on and weigh the item. This is a much more accurate way of measuring than trying to use the bathroom scale while holding onto the bag.

The first item I tested the scale on was my coupon binder. I've always been curious on just how heavy the binder is, since it is quite big. I was shocked to see that it is currently over 10 lbs! I swear sometimes it seems heavier than that!

I like how easy the scale is to use, and how small it is. It can easily be packed in your luggage without adding a lot of weight to your bag. The scale can weigh bags up to 110 lbs (50 Kgs) so you will never be caught off guard at the airport with baggage fees. You will know ahead of time if your bags are over the weight limit and can choose to mail items home instead!

Eat Smart is giving one of my lucky readers a Precision Voyager Digital Luggage Scale of their own so they will have for their holiday travels! Make sure you read how to enter below.
