How does it work? For a heat pack, you can put the sectional in your microwave for 1-3 minutes then apply it to wherever you need it. The sectional can also be frozen for a few hours in your freezer if you need a cold pack.
The first time I used the medium sectional it was after a long day of yard work. Well, the day after - it was one of those days where you feel every muscle you forgot you had. I was hardly able to move around the house. I heat up the sectional for three minutes. I think that was a bit more than I wanted the first time, but it I diffused the extra heat through a blanket. I sat in my chair with the sectional on my back for a half hour enjoying the heat on my aching back. I got up later to take care of things and the aches were gone and I was able to move around better.
The second time I used the sectional was after my recent car trip. My neck and back ached. I did only heat it up for two minutes which was a much better temperature and it worked just as effectively!
Thermal-Aid also makes their Kids Bears. These are for the smallest members of the family. You obviously heat them up and freeze them for less time than the adult versions. But they are there to comfort your kids when they're sore or feeling yucky. Not only are they adorable, but if it only takes a teddy bear for them to feel better they're absolutely worth it!
I love the fact that the products are natural, and you don't need to take medicine to make those aches go away. What a great product to add to your medicine cabinet (or freezer).
