We were getting ready to go the other day and my boyfriend was getting impatient. "Hold on - I have to unsnap my socks and put them on" I didn't get a reply - he obviously thought I was a bit goofy (well goofier than usual. When I met him at the door, he asked me what was taking so long "My socks have snaps, my shoes have zippers and my pants have a button" - yah, that probably didn't make me seem less goofy!

You're probably like him, wondering what I'm talking about. This past February I did a product review for Dawg's Footwear of some pretty fantastic boots. The other day I recieved a small package from them in the mail - socks! But not just any socks, Snappy Socks! I laughed a little - I often get socks in the mail, it's one of those things that just makes me smile when socks show up.

But Snappy Socks aren't just regular socks - they do everything that regular socks do, they just wont lose their friend in the wash! We all have that gremlin living in our washer or dryer and we have at least a few pairs of socks that are missing their pair. Snappy Socks help prevent them from getting lost in the wash with a simple, and ingenious solution - a snap!

When you're done with wearing the socks, snap them together and toss them in the hamper. They'll hold on during the wash and guess what - they're already paired so it makes matching them up a lot easier too!

The socks were comfy when I wore them. A couple times I did find myself noticing the snap up against my skin, it was more a "that's new" situation instead of it annoying me. And after, I did toss them in the laundry - I had to see if they actually stayed together! They did! The snaps are sturdy and the pair was still secured together.

What a great solution for socks for your kids or even yourself. They're affordable and have super cute designs too. I think they're a great idea to help prevent those sock gremlins from snatching single socks, and they will speed up folding time too!
