Week 99er

June is National Dairy month! The Michigan Dairy News Bureau wants to make sure my readers get enough dairy in their diet and you can do it easily by making small changes. With the last giveaway I did for them (now closed) we learned that milk is a much better drink for you than most of the other options.

Dairy is something you can enjoy all day! It's not just a glass of milk, or something to be put in your cereal. I personally use it a lot in cooking, but you can also use your yogurt to make great smoothies that will not only give you energy but are a delicious treat as well!

It doesn't matter where I am or where I'm going, but I've always got  a bottle or glass of water with me. I get dehydrated easily, and even take a glass of water to bed with me - even if someone laughs at me for it. But I like to make sure we have good water - either from a filter or a bottle. But the problem with bottled water, other than the cost (one of the highest mark ups out there!) is the amount of waste that needs recycled or thrown out if I'm on the go. It's helping to contribute to the huge amount of waste in the land fills and continues an unending cycle.

We all love our little ones - and ABC is launching a new show that is full of fun and adorable babies!

This year our goal is to eat healthier and have more fresh food in our diets.  A few years back, we tried to have a garden but between poor soil and the squirrels our plants didn't have a chance. We're hoping to move within the next couple months, so while planning my garden this year I had to find other ways to have my garden this year. 

While planning my garden I found several different gardening methods, from canister to vertical gardening. Not knowing a lot about how to get started with vertical gardening I contacted Plants on Walls about some of their products. They sent me one of their 4-pocket Vertical Planters to try out, and I'm super excited with the results. 

Cooking gluten free can be a pain, extra ingredients, flours you never knew existed, gums and more. Remember the day when you could grab a box of cookie mix or brownies and have some warm yummy goodness in under a half hour? Thankfully, Betty Crocker has mixes to make it easier for all of us on the gluten free diet!  

I have always loved reading, and in the summer it was a great treat! I could read as many books as I wanted and go on so many adventures! Did you know May is "Get Caught Reading Month"? A campaign to get kids reading more and kick off the summer?

Have you ever heard of a Rollie Eggmaster? I hadn't before I was asked if I wanted to review one. I guess I can blame not having cable anymore. But when I asked my sister if she heard about it she went wild. It was what she wanted! 

So what is a Rollie Eggmaster? It is a vertical grilling system for your eggs, or other food that makes your food in a few minutes. It all comes out on it's own, and in a tube form. It's has a great silicone grip on the outside, so its not too hot to grab. One of the best things, you don't need a pan to make breakfast or desserts!
