Summer is here - I'm not sure if you can feel it or not. Well, it felt like Summer the other day in Michigan, and now we're back to cooler days. But that doesn't mean I don't want to kick off my shoes and run in the grass.

I may have mentioned once in the past that once it warms up I have a seasonal allergy to socks. I can't seem to keep them for any reason. You will always find me in a pair of sandals and I love having a good selection of them to choose from. You never know what you are going to end up wearing and what the weather will be in Michigan, so having a couple different types of sandals around is always a must!

Earlier this week I did my first attempt at gluten free crescent rolls. I loved them, and the dough made more than enough than we needed for dinner. So I set half of the homemade dough aside and thought I'd make a sweet and delicious bread bread as a side for another meal. I combined a few of my favorite flavors and stuffed it with goat cheese, figs and basil - it came out so good! You could even drizzle it with honey or agave to make it a nice desert bread.

It's starting to heat up out there, and instantly our minds start to wander and dream about hitting the road. I've been called a road warrior more than once in my life - if the road takes me there, I'll be on it. I just need a set of four good wheels and a nice ride to get me there.

Our summer driving started early this year, we had a family member graduating from college on the other side of the state and decided to make a weekend out of it. While I've lived all over Michigan, Jason hasn't, so we took some time to explore our own state and take in the sites.

Cooking gluten free can be a pain, extra ingredients, flours you never knew existed, gums and more. Remember the day when you could grab a box of cookie mix or brownies and have some warm yummy goodness in under a half hour? Thankfully, Betty Crocker has mixes to make it easier for all of us on the gluten free diet!

I love Ratatouille for so many reasons, it's easy to make, it's so colorful and even better, it uses a pile of fresh vegetables to make a delicious meal. Top it with goat cheese and it's the perfect summer dish, especially if you've got your garden going at home.

I've been gluten free for over 7 years now, and with that means giving up those convenient baked goods and things to go with your meals. When I first started my gluten free life, there wasn't a lot of choices out there. And what few things I did find, weren't the best - ok let's face it, they were gross. Over the years I've adapted, found ways around it, products have gotten better and so have my cooking skills. All of that being said, I have never found gluten free crescent rolls. Think about it, all the holidays, those easy recipes using them.. off limits.. that is until now!

Who doesn't like Mac & Cheese? I've only met one person in my life who didn't, and well that's just silly! Jason loves his mac and cheese, and the only way he thinks it could be made better is with adding in Tuna. Now, I sit on the side lines on this one - who would do that to their mac and cheese? But I gave in - but took my own take on it.

No, this isn't from a box, we made the cheese mixture ourselves and I even added veggies - I fully expected to get yelled at for that! But I was pleasantly surprised when I heard "wait.. are those mushrooms I see mmmmmmmm!"

Yes, the recipe looks like takes a lot, but it's actually quiet simple. It made an almost over flowing casserole dish of yummy goodness, and it even convinced me that Tuna Mac could be where it's at!

Have you ever heard of a Rollie Eggmaster? I hadn't before I was asked if I wanted to review one. I guess I can blame not having cable anymore. But when I asked my sister if she heard about it she went wild. It was what she wanted!

So what is a Rollie Eggmaster? It is a vertical grilling system for your eggs, or other food that makes your food in a few minutes. It all comes out on it's own, and in a tube form. It's has a great silicone grip on the outside, so its not too hot to grab. One of the best things, you don't need a pan to make breakfast or desserts!

But using the Rollie took a little practice...
