The coupons I have for the deal aren't as good as some other places have - I only have $1.50/1 Huggies coupon. But with these packs at $5.00 each - it's still a good deal!
When I got to Babies R Us I had to ask where they were, I was able to easily locate the diapers but couldn't find these ones. Apparently the location near never got restocked with these diapers and they weren't a big seller. But they had a few packages left. The sales girl told me they only had size 5 - I told her that didn't matter.
Why doesn't the size matter? Because they're not for our household. Instead I am going to donate them to a local women's shelter. These packages are normally $11.99 each, but after coupon they're on sale for $3.50 each! That's 71% off their regular price! We can't use them in our house, but I know there are people who can and who could probably still couldn't afford them.
I try to give back to the community whenever possible. I have a box in our back living room that I pile up with extra free items, tooth brushes, tooth paste, deodorant, pantiliners etc. I make sure we have the items we need in our house, but extra items can be put to better use!
I ask that everyone does this if they can - if you have a few extra dollars to spare, even if you're unemployed and can get extra items - donate them. There is always someone who is in a worse position than you are, trust me, I see it standing on the street corners every day in town.
I'm thankful that I'm able to give back, it's not much, but every bit helps and will help take the burden off someone else.
